This one is my current favorite, I enjoy the single Stream of water mixed with holi powder.

Holi Powder with Liquid (for Polvoholi photo competition) 

Here is my current photography contest entry for the awesome company PolvoHoli, I have been using them for a while now to supply my Holi powder for photoshoots. Underneath are instructions for you to achieve a similar look. 

Apply Holi powder of three colors make sure they compliment each other. Then apply bottle or water hose to the head of the subject. Camera settings should be at sync speed for your external lights.
